These plants are what time-lapse videos were made for! (maybe not, but they're so cool they should be). The leaves of this plant fold up and down as the daily sunlight moves across the sky, which is where the name 'Prayer Plant' comes from.
Marantas like bright, indirect light but are very sensitive to water. We recommend watering with distilled water making the soil moist but never soggy. (Watering from the bottom of the plant up is often helpful!) It's a little more fussy than some of the rest in it's class, but well worth the effort.
